Silent Falls‘ mysteries continue to grow…

Hollis Briarwood knows something that no one else does: that Alice is lying about something to protect them. Learn what you weren’t supposed to see. Find Alice, your missing sister. Play as Alice’s younger sibling (you choose their pronouns!) in the Silent Falls Expansion.

If you know someone who wants to try the expansion before backing... make sure to share the link with them!

Second verse louder than the first!

The original Alice is Missing Kickstarter reached an amazing total of $138,723 in pledges. Right now, Alice is Missing: Silent Falls has reached $134,986, so we’re super close to passing that goal… and then it’s not far at all to $150,000 and the new playlist curated by Spenser Starke!

IT'S ALMOST HERE! Official How to Play video!

We’re so excited to bring you a brand new How to Play video! You may have seen some previous instructional videos for Alice is Missing, such as the one from our friends at Good Time Society with Becca Scott, our Roll20 Character Creation and Game Setup video, and our Roll20 Facilitator Prep video.

This video is new, made especially for Alice is Missing: Silent Falls, and will show you how to play without giving too much away about the new cards involved in the expansion.

You spoke, and we listened! FAQs coming soon!

A few of you have asked about the unofficial Discord bot, AliceBot, being updated for Silent Falls. We’re talking to the bot’s creator and will have more information for you very soon. Stay tuned!

Thanks to backer feedback, we’ll also be looking into adding the Silent Falls expansion into the add-ons in the Pledge Manager, so that you can buy additional copies for family, friends, or anyone else you want to bring to the world of Silent Falls. It'll be available in digital and physical formats! More information soon.

We’ve had some questions about EU-friendly shipping, and we know some of you are worried about how customs and VAT will be handled. We're working with our shipping partner, Gamerati, to provide you with answers.

48 Sessions of Alice is Missing Later…

(That's 72 hours of 90 minute Alice games!)

It has been a wild and wonderful first 72 hours on this campaign! We’ve received so much support from you not only in pledges, but in signal boosts, enthusiasm, and lively conversation on our Discord server. Here’s a breakdown of everything we’ve done so far, and what more is to come.

We’ve unlocked three of our first four stretch goals.

  • New Missing Posters!
  • A Cantrip Candles collaboration!
  • An official playmat!

We’ve got a surprise for you!

We know how excited you are to delve into Silent Falls. So, we’re producing a new How to Play video for you! You may have seen Actual Plays of Alice is Missing and our Roll20 Setup Guides, but in Alice is Missing: Silent Falls, things will change. There will be new ways for the story to unfold. We’re not going to give away all the secrets of Silent Falls… but enough to give you an idea of what to expect.

Pledge Tier Highlight!


We'd really like to draw your attention to the Friend pledge level. For $40, you'll get the physical and digital versions of the expansion.This includes:

  • A beautifully boxed print deck for your in-person games.
  • A PDF print-and-play version in case you want to keep your first-print edition in mint condition.
  • You also get two different VTT versions of the Silent Falls expansion, on Roll20 and Alchemy, meaning that you can play online with friends… no matter where they are.

Missing Posters:

The original Alice is Missing game showcased a number of different Alices across the currently available posters. Since we’ve hit this stretch goal, there will now be additional posters created with beautiful, original art to expand your table’s options for posters of Alice Briarwood. Everyone who backs the project will receive the digital versions of these posters for free but a high quality, printed set will be available in the Add-On menu of the Pledge Manager, so keep an eye out for future updates and previews!

Cantrip Candles:

We’re collaborating with Cantrip Candles to add an extra dimension to Alice is Missing. These 100% natural soy wax candles will smell of a number of carefully chosen region specific scents, evoking the atmosphere of Silent Falls in your gaming space. We’ll be announcing more information on these very special candles–and the secrets that they hold inside–very soon!

Playmat:

This playmat is a fantastic addition to your physical gaming space. For those of you unfamiliar with how Alice is Missing works, it involves a specific layout of cards that’s key to the progression of the game. This playmat will help guide you and your players in card placement so that your game flows even more smoothly. It features Julianne Griepp’s beautiful box art on a neoprene mat that's perfectly sized so you can roll it up and pack it away between games. The face of the mat has clear places for all of the card placements, some rules to help the Facilitator, and QR Codes to help you quickly access the playlist timers online.

What’s next?

New Soundtrack:

No doubt you’re already intimately familiar with the original Alice is Missing soundtrack, lovingly curated by the game’s creator Spenser Starke and featuring music from Message to Bears, Glories, Paper Planes, and Doug Kaufman, among others. (If you’re not, you can check it out on our YouTube, with the official animated timer). You’ve almost certainly cried over “You Are A Memory” while thinking about how it just hits so differently at the end versus the beginning of the game.

This stretch goal means that you’ll be introduced to a whole new 90 minutes of emotional, driven, glorious music, once again carefully chosen by Spenser. While we’re going to save the full track list reveal for a later date, we can confirm that the Silent Falls version will be just as impactful but completely different.

Thanks to all your enthusiasm and support for Alice, you’ve unlocked the $100K stretch goal—the Alice is Missing playmat! Here are a few words from Spenser Starke about the design ethos for the playmat.

Because we’re so hyped about how well everything is going, we’d like to talk more about the add-ons that we’ve come up with for this Kickstarter campaign. In addition to the add-ons listed below, the Cantrip Candles Silent Falls scent and the playmat will both be available in the pledge-manager!

This backpack, designed by Noxweiler Berf,  features the Franklin Academy school mascot (GO GRIZZLY!). It's big enough to carry your Alice is Missing game decks, keepsakes, water bottles (to rehydrate after your 90-minute emotional rollercoaster), and of course, your cell phone. Your backpack may also contain a secret gift from Alice…

It’s a high quality backpack manufactured by BluSource, a leader in the industry.

Enamel Pin Set

This enamel pin set can go on your backpack, your clothes, or your bulletin board. Or, you can keep them on the postcard from Alice that they’ll be sent to you on! The set features pins of our favorite art from Alice is Missing and the Silent Falls expansion by Julianne Griepp, and the Hunters Entertainment Art Team—perfect mementos of Silent Falls.

Arcade Tokens

These arcade tokens, made by Norse Foundry, are cast in metal and feature the logo of the most popular arcade in Silent Falls, along with the text SILENT FALLS - IGGY FLIPS - UPUPDOWN ARCADE and No Cash Value on the back.

20 Exclusive Searching Cards

Along with the QR Code Searching Cards, this add-on will provide 5 new exclusive cards that you can use to digitally access unique photos that can be shared with your group during gameplay. These cards can only be purchased as part of this campaign!

We're absolutely FLOORED!

It's been an intense two days for us. It’s incredible that we reached $96,028 on day one and crossed $107,000 on day two! Which means we’ve also hit THREE stretch goals! We’re ecstatic that we can bring the new Missing Posters, our unique candles from Cantrip Candles, and the custom Alice is Missing Playmat to you.
