The Keepsake Experience and Final Appreciation Update!

With our gratitude for the patience and support up to this point, we have some exciting news, Alice is Missing - The Keepsake Experience sets are currently leaving the Hunters Entertainment warehouse and should be fully fulfilled by the end of the month!
As we've said a few times in previous updates, while these have been delayed, we feel that the wait will be rewarded with the unique experience that we always intended and that the various components will provide a new dimension to your games of Alice is Missing! Outside of a few other--potential--promotional efforts, the Keepsake Experience is exclusive to all of the Kickstarter backers that supported our campaign. (And this version will never be duplicated.)
While many of the packages are already out--and some of you may have them by the time of this update--you should receive an email notification with your tracking information once your Keepsakes have started their journey to you. Again, we anticipate that it will take the rest of the month to fully complete the shipments. If, come July, you haven't seen any notifications or the delivery of your shipment, feel free to check in with us at [email protected] to help track down your order.
No action is required from you at this point.
We are pleased to say that we have a much simpler and more streamlined shipping system and are directly managing all of those processes internally. We will have immediate and clear answers, should anything get caught up in the work of getting you your Keepsakes!
As for any other fulfillment, if you are missing any part of your base pledge--outside of Keepsakes--please reach out to our support team at the email above to help resolve your issue. Everything--other than the Keepsakes--should be in your hands, at this point.

Welcome to the Alice is Missing Keepsake Experience!
If you are in possession of one of the Kickstarter exclusive tiers for the Alice is Missing Silent Falls game expansion, or if you have Keepsake envelopes from other promotional efforts, you have the opportunity to enhance your games of Alice is Missing using the various items provided within the marked packages contained within your individual set.
You may use packages from the Keepsake Experience with the original game, the Silent Falls expansion, or along with any of the Alice is Missing - Digital Experience games, available online. (Including the newest expansion, Whispering Pines—available now for pre-order.)
The only limitation is your ability to distribute the packages to various players.
The Keepsake Experience works best when every player involved is given an envelope or box to open. However, with the agreement of the entire table of players, it could be utilized by—only—one or more players.
As you and the other players complete your pre-game setup and the Facilitator is guiding you through all of the various stages of preparation for your game, all players may open their envelopes. The contents of which should be kept secret for the time being.
A variety of items are mixed throughout the Keepsake Experience and—except in rare instances and when multiple sets of Keepsakes are being mixed together—each package should contain a unique item.
The item within your package is meant to represent a physical connection between you and the Alice of your game. How this plays out is up to you. The item could be a token of friendship, something that you were given by someone else connected to Alice, or something that you took. Think about the meaning of the item, your character, your connection to Alice, and how the item might come into play during your game.
It is important to not break the silence of the game, so while you should not talk out loud about the item, feel free to take a photo with your phone and save it to share with your text group during gameplay.
Some items within the Keepsake Experience are straight-forward in their intended use and other items require more interpretation. While nothing is explicit, any item that is deemed by a player as inappropriate for their story—or in the unlikely, but possible, situation of an item breaking any line or veil set by any player—that item may be disregarded and another package opened if available.
Also, while rare, some items may be edible. These items have been prepackaged and are safe but are provided as game aids and not meant to be consumed. Nothing in the Keepsake Experience is perishable and, other than avoiding extreme heat, no special care is required before opening any of the packages provided.
We hope that your game of Alice is Missing, featuring the Keepsake Experience, is enhanced by these little pieces of Silent Falls and your character’s life with Alice Briarwood. We’d love to hear about your individual experiences online, on social media, or through email at [email protected].
Also, a quick note on the items in the Experience and the artistic aging of the individual pieces:
The intent of the Keepsake Experience was to always create an immersive experience, not to deliver a factory manufactured product. Each item--both in the envelopes and the collector box--may have varied degrees of aging and wear included. This is not a mistake or unintentional damage to anything that you may receive.
For the boxes, the carved Alice heart, the aged stickers and other embellishments, every scratch and scuff, is meant to communicate the idea of a box that was loving used by Alice Briarwood throughout her life. First as a young girl and then a teen that started to use the box for more than just toys and other bits.
It's very much meant to feel like a real thing in the real world, used and loved by a real girl. You are the inheritor of this artifact and how you use it is entirely up to you. (Although we crafted it to fit all of your Alice is Missing game boxes and materials neatly within.)
We assure you that you’ve not received a box that was unintentionally damaged. It’s meant to feel real and was handcrafted by artists, not a machine in China. While we know that the worn appearance of the boxes was expressed in the original descriptions and images of the Keepsake Experience--and while much of what we shared then were simple sample photos and concepts— not final product—the look of the box there was very similar, covered in scuffs and stickers, writing and other personal touches. We just want to prevent any confusion that may occur. There are no "perfect" and untouched boxes, each is unique and special. Each tells a story and is for you and your players to carry onward from Silent Falls.
