We’re so grateful to all of our community: our backers, people who signal boosted the campaign, reviewers, and everyone who helped get the word out about Alice is Missing: Silent Falls.

Our final pledge total for this campaign is $197,841, thanks to all our 3,845 backers. We’re going to put that money to great use in bringing you not only the Silent Falls expansion in both physical and digital formats, but also the stretch goals that we unlocked:

The new MISSING posters, the wonderful Silent Falls scented candles from Cantrip Candles, the Alice is Missing playmat, the new soundtrack curated by creator Spenser Starke, and the Discord bot to assist players who use Discord for their games. Not to mention the amazing Keepsakes. We have a dedicated team chewing on the ears of beloved teddy bears as we speak.

It’s no small undertaking to produce all of this. The bulk of the writing and design for the expansion cards is complete, and those will be off to print very soon. You may have already taken a sneak peek at the three new cards available at DriveThruRPG, so you know that the rest of that version is on the way as well. And for those of you who watched the recent Actual Play featuring Tanya DePass, Omega Jones, Jay Foster, and our Community Director Markeia McCarty, you saw the Roll20 version in action! Our wonderful cast members were putting the Roll20 version of the expansion through its paces!

We want to make sure every version is good to go before we release it to you.

Alice is Missing has a very distinctive look thanks to artist Julianne Griepp, and we’re delighted to give you a glimpse of some of her work for Silent Falls!

The Silent Falls Expansion Actual Play is LIVE (1 Day left in the Kickstarter!)

Hello, residents of Silent Falls!

Our Silent Falls Actual Play video is dropping on Monday, March 13th at 6pm Pacific/9pm Eastern—and now we can reveal the cast! The Actual Play will be facilitated by our Community Director, Markeia McCarty (@markeiamccarty), and the people making their way with her into Silent Falls will be Tanya DePass (@cypheroftyr), Omega Jones (@criticalbard), and Jay Foster (@swoleinitiative). It's a tumultuous journey for our cast and a wonderful look at the new Expansion!

No sooner did we release our new stretch goals than you smashed through the first of them, namely, the $175,000 Alice is Missing: Silent Falls Discord bot. If you’ve played Alice is Missing online before, you may have played with AliceBot, created for Discord by the ThreadOFate team. This has previously been an unofficial accompaniment to Alice is Missing, although an incredibly welcome one, given the past few years of people spending more time in online play. The updated, improved Discord bot will include the Silent Falls expansion cards but will also be relocated to the Hunters Entertainment Discord server where we will be managing it more directly.

Speaking of which, our Discord has seen a lot of new traffic in recent days, and we hear it’s in no small part due to Shut Up & Sit Down’s review of Alice is Missing. Hunters Entertainment are very proud to have produced the first game that made Quinns cry. The review gives a great overview of the game, but please be mindful of his content warnings at the beginning, as his experience with the game was on the darker side emotionally.

Hello, everyone! To celebrate the final 72 hours of the Alice is Missing: Silent Falls Kickstarter, we have a BUNCH of surprises for you!

UP FIRST: An interview with creator Spenser Starke!

Watch as our Community Director, Markeia McCarty, interviews Spenser about the Silent Falls expansion, the progress of the Kickstarter, the game’s development, and what he’s chosen to add to the world of Alice is Missing.

Two new stretch goals for the finish line!

With all our original stretch goals reached, we've added two brand-new goals! The first, at $175,000, is an Alice is Missing: Silent Falls Discord bot to make remote play as seamless as possible! The second? At $200,000, we'll produce aSilent Falls tourist t-shirt with in-world artwork.

But that's not all! An OFFICIAL Actual Play is coming! 

You heard that right. For folks who wanted to get a look at the Silent Falls expansion in play...  you won't have to wait much longer. Keep your eyes peeled for the cast announcement!

$150k Stretch Goal UNLOCKED! This is MUSIC to our ears.

 $150k reached. Soundtrack unlocked!

Watch our Community Director, Markeia McCarty, take you through tips and tricks on how to play the expansion, which can replace or build upon specific cards from the base game. She’ll tell you how the facilitator can vary their role, suggest character swaps, and more! She will also bring you up to speed on new content warnings for the Silent Falls expansion, which you’ll want to discuss during the Lines & Veils section of set-up with your group.

Don’t worry—you don’t have to memorize any of this, it will be reiterated in the expansion ruleset! We wanted to give you a sneak peek at some of the cards, themes, and relationships you may explore as you journey through Silent Falls.
