Happy Monday Backers! 

We hope that you are enjoying the autumn season!  As the weather turns, we find that the darker days bring us back to playing games of Alice is Missing, exploring Silent Falls and reliving the mystery and deep emotions hidden there.  We hope to see you on Main Street or maybe at the Boardwalk.  In our shared search for Alice, maybe we can tell a story together.

Since AiM:SF is still in the manufacturing stage, We don’t have much to report. We are waiting to get the final samples for review. Once given the final approval from our team, we will have a more solid dates and photos of the final product to share with you.
 

That being said, we have spoke to them about the timing for fulfillment and if all of the manufacturing and cargo shipments proceeds without any surprises we estimate the full game release will be February 2024!
 

We also received a huge shipment of boxes of...well...boxes! We are working on all of the various--and complex--builds for the Alice’s Keepsakes items. These are--only and forever-- for the special Kickstarter exclusives and are really beautiful, customized wooden boxes that will hold all of Alice’s Keepsakes as well as your copy of the game and expansion.  To those of you that picked one up, we can’t wait for you to share your experiences once they land at your doorstep!

Holding Pattern

Salutations, dear friends.  

We apologize for the delaying this update, but we’ve been in a bit of a holding pattern as we’ve not had much news since the game has been sent off.  We are ecstatic to see all of the wonderful feedback on the digital PnP version.  Keep the images and tag us on socials if you post anything about your experience! We know everyone is super excited about the expansion and chomping at the bit to see the final physical samples, so we’ll be  updating all of you here every two weeks from this point forward. 

There are some updates on what the Hunters crew has been up to while we wait for all the final production steps for Silent Falls to fall into place.
 

As many of our staff, industry partners, game developers, and friends are a part of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA unions many of us went out to the picket line for the Tabletop RPG Day. We joined with many of our fellow TTRPG game allies by also sponsoring the event, providing supplies to the protesters, and some items for the raffle that raised fourteen thousand dollars for out of work WGA  members. Part of our donation were a huge pile of copies of the original Alice is Missing and we are proud of the support that we could provide. We even got to join in on the fun while Brennan Lee Mulligan was GMing for the strikers. Check out our socials for more information on the event.

Hello, friends of Alice!

BackerKit for this project is launching soon. We’re delighted that you are so enthusiastic about the game; we’re fortunate to have such a wonderful supportive community who want to continue sharing the love.

The digital Print and Play version of the game is out to backers now (please email [email protected] if you haven’t received it) and both Alchemy RPG and Roll20 are hard at work on their own digital versions.  Additionally, the AliceBot Discord bot is in the process of being transferred to the official Hunters Entertainment Discord by ThreadofFate, our helpful Discord coordinator and designer.  You’ll be receiving more specific timelines for those deliveries soon and should  have multiple digital options to play the new expansion before the end of summer!

The physical production process, including the Cantrip Candles stretch goal collaboration, keepsakes and physical messages, is moving along and on schedule; we currently have no delays to report there. We’re still on track to begin shipping out the physical items in December. We’ll keep you posted if anything comes up in that–often complex–process.  But, so far, so good!

Some of you asked for a peek at the kinds of keepsakes and messages that you’re going to be getting if you pledged for any of the varied keepsake options. Due to the secretive nature of the Keepsake elements  and the surprises that we have in store for you, we won’t be sharing too much additional information before the delivery of those pledge items, we want your first exposure to them to be special and something that you’ll never forget.  We are very excited to share these Keepsake items with all of you, though and we think that they’ll be worth the wait!

Hello, friends!

First and foremost, we’re sorry that we didn’t get the Silent Falls PDF out to you when we thought we would. We’ve been having some unforeseen issues with BackerKit and we’re working to iron them out. Until we get these issues sorted, we unfortunately won’t be able to release the PDF, since everything is interconnected and we need to finalize and send the BackerKit survey before we can do that.

The PDF is ready to go, it’s just a matter of getting the delivery set in a way that works for our post-campaign tracking and backer management.

This wasn’t a circumstance we anticipated, and we’re working to fix it as soon as we can.

While we are waiting for the Backer Surveys to be ready, we’re looking forward to sharing more images and progress reports as we get closer to the physical delivery and VTT expansions. Both Roll 20 and Alchemy are working hard on their individual versions of the Silent Falls expansion.

We’re moving along as expected and the Silent Falls expansion is well underway!
